inspiration for friends.

ANNE VIOLET is an inspiration blog by two friends residing cross-atlantic.  they first met in the summer of 2003 at an upstate ny observatory where they talked stars and neon earrings.  & ever since that magical night, a series of 80’s movie viewings, apple crisp binges, st. germain sipping, and nyc vintage party crashings, a dear dear friendship came to be.  in fall 2009, fate came a’knocking and A bid the big sweet apple farewell.  feeling uninspired without each other and using the wrong side of their brains at work, they started ANNE VIOLET as a means to express their love for the past and the way things were.  V now blogs from london while A, she blogs from hong kong.
